Student Council is open to students in grades 4 through 8. Students chosen to be representatives of the organization are elected by their classmates. The main purpose of Student Council is to prepare and empower student leaders to serve St. Emily School and its community. Student Council members have the responsibility to become positive role models and leaders in the school community. St. Emily Student Council sponsors and participates in various activities such as food/clothing drives, the Pumpkin Walk, Red Ribbon Week, Junior High dances, and school spirit activities. The goal of Student Council is to model for the student body participation in the school and surrounding community as well as to serve as vehicles of positive change.
